Got Breast Milk?

You may have heard the old mother’s tale that squirting breast milk in a baby’s eye can help unclog a blocked tear duct but does a bit of lactation fluid actually work?  According to breastfeeding experts, it actually does!  That’s because human breast milk is known to contain various antimicrobial compounds that can fight off a number of common bacteria that can ruin our day.  So, if your baby has a blocked tear duct you should clear any discharge, gently massage the corner of the eye and squirt the infant in the eye with breast milk…preferably your own child.
